Help for Manna, the local-first daily verse and iOS widget experience.
Quick note: Manna's core content is available offline, while purchases and premium restore depend on Apple and RevenueCat services. Widget content and settings are shared locally between the app and widget extension.
On your iPhone home screen, long-press an empty area, tap the add button, search for Manna, and choose the widget size you want. The widget reads its styling and verse data from the app's local shared storage.
Open Manna to refresh local widget data, make sure the selected theme and verse are saved, and confirm the widget is still active on your home screen. Restarting the device can also help if iOS has paused widget refresh.
Manna uses local notifications on your device. If reminders are not showing, confirm that notification permission is enabled for Manna in iOS Settings and that you selected a reminder time in the app.
Photo access is used for choosing custom backgrounds and for saving or sharing generated verse images. If you deny this permission, those related features may be limited.
Manna uses Apple's purchase system and RevenueCat to unlock premium access. To restore, use the in-app restore option while signed in to the same Apple account that completed the original purchase.
Yes. Manna does not require account registration for its main experience. Favorites, reading progress, reminder choices, and widget settings are stored locally on your device.
The app may share the selected verse, reference, language, theme, font, colors, and copied background assets with the widget extension through iOS App Group storage so the widget can render correctly.
If you still need help, send us your device model, iOS version, app version, and a short issue description.
