1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Mewmi (the "app"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Service Description

Mewmi is a private, local AI pet companion app. You can adopt and care for a virtual pet on your device, chat and interact with it through an AI model running on your device, and view your pet's status on a home screen widget.

The app's core features run primarily on your device and can be used without creating an account.

3. Mewmi Plus Subscriptions

Mewmi offers a free starter model and basic pet interactions. Mewmi Plus provides access to intermediate, advanced, and custom local GGUF models and other Plus features shown in the app. A model may require a separate initial download and sufficient device storage.

Mewmi Plus is offered as an auto-renewable monthly subscription (one month) or annual subscription (one year). The price, currency, and any applicable introductory offer are displayed in the app's purchase screen before you confirm payment. Available plans and prices may vary by region.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal price is shown in your Apple subscription information, subject to Apple's applicable notice and consent requirements for price changes.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings or at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• After cancellation, your Plus access continues until the end of the paid period, unless Apple states otherwise. The app's Restore Purchases control can restore an active entitlement associated with your Apple Account.

Apple processes purchases and billing. Subscription transaction and entitlement information is also processed through RevenueCat so the app can provide and restore Plus access; see our Privacy Policy.

4. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit Apple’s Report a Problem or contact Apple Support. We are unable to process refunds directly, and whether a refund is approved is determined by Apple.

5. User Conduct

When using the app, you agree not to:

• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or crack any part of the app
• Copy, distribute, or resell the app's content or features without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the app

6. Intellectual Property

The app and its content (including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and icons) are owned by us or their respective rights holders and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without authorization.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Pets are virtual entertainment content; their conversations are generated by an on-device AI model and are provided for reference and entertainment only, and do not constitute professional advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and post the new version here. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first attempt to resolve it through friendly negotiation.
